Pokémon December Challenge - Day 1 Favorite Bug Pokémon

I saw this december pokémon challenge over at Tumblr and couldn't help but try it for myself! Will I make it through the whole december? Probably not, but I can try

Mothim is my favorite bug pokémon, though Joltik comes close. I rarely use bug pokémon, and the only one I really ever trained was a Mothim in Diamond. And to my surprise he was one of the best pokémon I've ever used! Wonderful design, happy color scheme and a very fun pokémon to use. The fourth gen is special to me since it was responsible for making me love pokémon again and get over the"hate-all-new-pokémon" phase and Mothim is possibly one of my favorite gen 4 pokémon.

Overall I tend to not like bug pokémon. Their type chart is messy, they're often weak and more often than not they're simply outbeaten by other pokémon. Its one of those types that stand out a little though.
